When the kids are away, the cats will play!

What do your animals really do when you go to school? Find out with Molly and Skunky, two Siamese beanie cats who decide their day could use a little adventure. Together they explore their favorite places . . . but will they make it home in time?

A note from the author: "Molly and Skunky are real beanie cats that have been toted around, lost, found, lost and found again. They've been to southern Utah, Disneyland, Tom's Food Pride, and on countless car trips. But no matter where we go or what we do, these beanies always make their way home. In short, they're part of the family. The Adventures of Molly & Skunky began as a Christmas present for my kids when they were young. This year, backed by the incredible talent of illustrator Faythe Mills, Molly and Skunky have come to life in their own Minnewaska Press title."

In her professional life, Deb Mercier is a humor columnist and children's author. Her weekly column, "Back Space," is published in several Minnesota newspapers.
